FUAHSE 100 Level Students engage on a three-Day Entrepreneurship Training

The 100 level Female students of Federal University of Allied Health Sciences, Enugu from July 17th-19th,2025 participated in a 3-day intensive training on scaling Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), organised by the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) of the University.

Business Expert, Dr. Nwanneka Ghasi, who trained the students, focused on key areas, including business planning, Customer Service management, marketing management , Human resource management, Accessing the market and digital tools for growth. Participants were guided through sessions on building scalable business models, accessing funding, and leveraging social media for visibility.

Day 3, featured a pitching session where students presented their business ideas. Top performers to receive mentorship opportunities and support for further development.

Dr Ghasi emphasized the need for empowering young people to become job creators and employers of labour. The institution plans to follow up with continuous mentorship and business support.

The training aims to grow the entrepreneurial spirit of the students by the CED Department of the University.
