This university was founded in 2024  with the mandate to further improve  the healthcare sector in Nigeria by producing world-class  professionals who will boost the workforce and also drive change and innovation in healthcare services.

About the University

The Federal University of Allied Health Sciences Enugu (FUAHSE) was established on March 14 2024 with the mandate to improve on the healthcare needs of Nigerians and increase the manpower output in the sector.

Its transformation from the former Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy witnessed rapid growth from a monotechnic to a university of six faculties and 17 Departments/programs.
