Dr. Kelvin Anoh is a Senior Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Director of the Centre for Future Technologies at the University of Chichester, United Kingdom. Specializing in smart digital infrastructure, telecommunications, and next-generation energy systems, he has built a robust career as an academic, researcher, and professional engineering leader. He earned his Ph.D. in Communication Engineering from the University of Bradford, an MSc in Data Telecommunications and Networks from the University of Salford, and a BSc (Hons) in Industrial Physics from Ebonyi State University, Nigeria, where he graduated as the top student in his class. Prior to his current tenure at the University of Chichester, he gained extensive academic and research experience in the UK higher education sector, serving as a Lecturer at the University of Bolton and working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Manchester Metropolitan University.
As a highly active researcher with over 80 peer-reviewed scientific articles, Dr. Anoh focuses on the intersection of communication engineering, smart infrastructure, and artificial intelligence. His specific research interests include smart grids, smart cities, signal processing, IoT-enabled cyber-physical systems, embedded machine learning, and cybersecurity. He has contributed significantly to major high-impact initiatives, including the EPSRC-funded “Smart In-building Microgrid for Energy Management” project and the €30M European Commission-funded “Triangulum” Project on Smart Cities. He also extends his expertise internationally, serving as a Visiting Associate Professor at Novena University, Nigeria, and participating as an Early Career Researchers Committee member for the Supergen Energy Network Hub.
